This was the best price that I was getting for a similar product across all brands. TV was just as advertised. Great, picture and at a great price. I looked around at all the differrent tvs (plasma, lcd, led) and it seemed to me that for the price at this size, this is your best option. 3D doesn't interest me either, that is why this tv is perfect. Yea, I could have paid 50% more and gotten a LED, but I really don't think they are worth the money. When it comes to technology, I usually buy what was the big thing a year or two ago...otherwise you get suckered into spending far more than you need to for practically the same thing. If you aren't sure..this tv won't dissapoint!
